About Ricks Mobile Mechanic
Mobile automotive diagnostics and repair
Ricks Mobile Mechanic is a mechanic in Vancouver, Washington. It is listed at 12117 NE 40th Cir, Vancouver, WA 98682, which places it among the local businesses of Vancouver that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is Open 24 hours. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (458) 223-6457. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is 5ef8415c76187.site123.me, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
With 4.0 out of 5 on Google from 96 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for mechanics in Vancouver. Recent reviews are the best guide.
Vancouver is in Washington, in the Pacific Northwest, where winters are mild and wet, summers are dry and pleasant, and outdoor recreation drives a lot of local business; hours change little through the year. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Vancouver follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Wasn't sure what my oldie-goldie 2007 Taurus needed but Rick quickly diagnosed the problem. It was a fuel pump. Rick was very efficient & explained the entire process In terms I could understand. As a Senior citizen, breakdowns of our vehicle, means our only form of Independence goes too & Rick came thru! Very reasonable prices, on time when he said he would be there. Friendly & very helpful. I highly reccomend his work & work ethics! I give Rick a 5 star rating!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🤩

My car broke down late at night and after multiple calls with other businesses that could not provide help, i was feeling helpless. Until i called Rick and he told me he would be there in an hour no problem. he showed up exactly at the time he said he would—11 PM on the dot. He diagnosed and fixed the issue incredibly quickly, all while staying completely professional and friendly. The pricing was honest and cost-efficient, especially for such a late call. If you need a mobile mechanic you can truly rely on, Rick is the one. Highly recommend!

Would not recommend going to this guy. He replaced my timing belt and water pump on my car but he did it incorrectly he had missing blots and loose bolts and he bent some stuff also he was avoiding my calls and text when he knew he messed up my car. Avoid this guy It doesn't seem like he knows what he is doing. Edit:No one else but Rick's mobile mechanic and the shop that fixed his mistakes worked on my car. I don't know where he got that multiple people work on it or how he would know. And it was about a week after he worked on my car that it started making a horrible grinding noise and I told him right after it happened. So I don't know about the several weeks later when it was around a week and I had barely driven it just to work for about 4 days that is about a 7 minute drive. Posted pictures to show proof. Got my car nov 22 and it started having problems dec 2 and a picture of what the shop found and fixed.
